Q: Hello, I am in need of advice from a professional with experience in stretched ear problems. The problem with my ear is I stretches to 3\4 and left the tapers in for a day and a half and I attempted to put in my 3\4 single flared tunnels/eyelets and my first problem was they weren’t long…
These are just a few warning labels corporations like hot topic have attached to the body jewelry products listed on their website. People still buy this stuff and some people initially pierce with the same quality. Research your piercer, ask questions, be conscious of what you wear in your body.
There are plenty of established piercing studios with knowledgable piercers that can help you pick out a piece that’s perfect for you. They can fit it and install it for you, but most of all you can leave with the assurance that you’re wearing a piece of jewelry that is completely safe to wear for the rest of your life and a piece that will always look as great as the day you got it.
This photo that I.S. Fan Chivahn from Seattle WA posted, was taken 2 days after she got her Vertical Labret and Nostril pierced @deeprootstattoo. They surely compliment her healed Philtrum piercing very nicely. She is a Stylist by trade, and likes to keep it stylin with her I.S. Faux-pal-set fine quality body jewelry! 😊

These are not for sell yet online but make sure you keep checking!

Check out Sara’s new septum piece she got from Buddha Jewelry Organics! We carry all of Buddha’s new styles in-shop, and we’ll be adding them to our site for purchase soon!
You all hear me talk about implant-grade body jewellery, and how not all pieces of jewellery are made equally. I also talk a lot about surface finish and mirror polish (and sometimes my portfolio photos have me or my camera reflected in the jewellery!).
However, it can be really difficult at first glance to see the difference between a $2 piece of jewellery or a $100 one, and that can be confusing!
Here is a fabulous example showing the difference between high polish, implant grade body jewellery and the lower quality pieces of jewellery.

People don’t realise there’s a cost incurred that allows for all the years that artist worked on their skills to improve, that compensated for the times they had to work two or more shitty jobs just to cover the most basic bills, that acknowledges that what they do represents a unique point of view and displays their own personal style. Art is more than the sum of its materials, and so is an artist. When you try to talk an artist down in price, you’re being insulting. This^^^
